I know that Larry was a bona fide hero that was killed in Viet Nam. This picture was taken while he was in the 101 Airborne. Later while recuperating from wounds suffered in battle for which he was awarded the DSC, Silver Star plus 2 purple hearts, he went to OCS and joined the Army Rangers. He then went to Viet Nam where he was killed in battle.  Larry Guthrie"
